Job Description:

We are recruiting for an experienced Defendant Clinical Negligence Locum Solicitor to take on a leadership role within a dynamic and well-established team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident litigator who enjoys both hands-on casework and mentoring others. The successful candidate will oversee a busy caseload of defendant clinical negligence claims, often acting on behalf of NHS Trusts, public bodies, and insurers. You’ll play a key role in supporting junior solicitors, contributing to strategic case planning, and maintaining excellent client relationships.

Job Responsibility:

Manage a caseload of complex, high-value clinical negligence claims
Provide supervision and guidance to junior team members
Liaise with clients, experts, and counsel effectively
Support team development and workflow management
Ensure compliance with procedural and regulatory standards

Requirements:

Strong track record in defendant clinical negligence
Previous team leadership or supervision experience
Immediate or short-notice availability
