Job Responsibility

Analyzes various samples in all departments of the Laboratory, following standard procedures
Assesses the validity of results obtained according to age and sex, accurately records and reports results
Documents problems in the Laboratory and solves and/or suggest corrective action(s)
Performs routine calibration and adjustment of equipment, checks standardization curves
Receives or obtains specimens for laboratory analysis
Performs and assesses quality control with each test to verify accuracy and reproducibility of tests
if out of control, takes corrective action

State of California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License

Job Responsibility

Receive and evaluate clinical specimens, ensuring quality and adherence to testing protocols
Perform qualitative and quantitative testing following approved policies and procedures

Job Responsibility
