The Clinical Laboratory Scientist supports the development and implementation of new diagnostic assays. Working independently under the guidance of the Laboratory Director, this role performs assay and equipment validations, authors standard operating procedures, and develops training and competency documentation while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance. The CLS performs pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical testing of moderate- and high-complexity procedures in accordance with Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) standards. This includes conducting specialized testing across all core clinical laboratory areas. The role is responsible for accurately evaluating, documenting, and reporting laboratory results to support diagnostic and treatment decisions for the pediatric patient population.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
1 year of experience
CA Clinical Lab Scientist License
Strong emphasis in Blood Bank and Hematology preferred
