Job Description:

Compass Associates are supporting the appointment of a Clinical Home Manager for a nursing and residential care home in Halstead, Essex. The home has recently completed a significant refurbishment. This role is about embedding good practice, supporting the team, and rebuilding momentum. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for an experienced Clinical Home Manager who enjoys being visible on the floor, setting standards, and leading by example.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing strong clinical leadership across nursing and residential care
  • Embedding robust clinical governance and best practice
  • Supporting, developing, and stabilising the nursing and care teams
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards
  • Leading by example and maintaining a visible presence within the home
  • Working with the wider organisation to drive consistency and improvement

Requirements:

  • Active NMC PIN (RGN/RMN)
  • Experience in a nursing home environment
  • Strong knowledge of clinical governance and compliance
  • A hands-on, supportive leadership approach
  • The confidence to lead a service through stabilisation and improvement
  • Good operational awareness alongside clinical expertise
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle
