Job Description
An opportunity exists for enthusiastic and highly experienced Research Fellow to join the Department of Clinical Haematology and work with the Cancer Clinical Trials Centre (CCTC). Applicants are sought from trainees who are interested in developing Clinical Trial expertise in Clinical Haematology. This position is ideal for candidates who are anticipated to have their Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians by February 2027. Successful candidates may have an opportunity to extend their position for a further 12 months upon re-application.
Job Responsibility
Provide clinical services for haematology clinical trial patients
Join the Austin Clinical Haematology team as a Research Fellow
Work with the Cancer Clinical Trials Centre (CCTC)
Requirements
Be a registered Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians or equivalent, or be undergoing same with intent to have Fellowship awarded by February 2027
Have appropriate training and experience applicable to the field of Clinical Haematology
Demonstrate a commitment to high quality patient care
Demonstrate a commitment to working as a team member with peer medical, junior medical, nursing and other clinical staff to provide efficient, safe and quality care across the continuum
Demonstrate a commitment to teaching, training and research
