In this role, you will oversee capital planning and acquisition of medical devices, review service contracts, and manage large-scale healthcare technology management projects. You will coordinate the implementation of defined, short-term projects, ensuring objectives are met within quality, time, and budget constraints. The ideal candidate will have a background in clinical engineering or biomedical/imaging equipment technology, with strong project management experience in a healthcare setting. Job Responsibility:
Coordinate and implement short-term capital and large-scale medical equipment projects within organizational procedures and standards
Oversee the capital planning process for medical device acquisition, replacement, and forecasting
Review and analyze service contracts related to medical equipment
Manage project objectives, ensuring delivery within quality, time, and budget targets while mitigating associated risks
Provide analysis, consultation, and research to establish project timelines and deliverables
Participate in cross-functional teams to determine optimal equipment service, purchases, and agreements
Maintain awareness of technical and business issues relevant to clinical engineering and healthcare project management
Communicate project status and updates effectively with stakeholders and team members
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards throughout project execution
Requirements:
Background in clinical engineering with experience in medical devices and project management, including equipment replacement planning, forecasting, and contract analysis
Clinical engineering degree or equivalent experience
3-5 years in a healthcare setting preferred
Proven ability to manage capital processes for medical equipment from initiation to completion
Experience providing analysis, consultation, and research to establish project timelines and deliverables
Participation in cross-functional project teams to determine equipment service, purchases, and agreements
Strong organizational, self-motivation, and communication skills
Project management experience/training in a healthcare environment preferred
