The Clinical Education Specialist (CES) is responsible for training clinicians on the use, adoption, and optimization of Baxter Infusion Therapy products at customer sites across the U.S. In this role you will help facilitate change and drive customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Clinical Education Specialists make an impact, from leading classroom training, to supporting go-live on clinical units, to post launch rounding and troubleshooting. As a primary connection to the healthcare leaders and professionals who rely on our products to save and sustain lives, you are the face and voice of our solutions. The insights and feedback you share with your team and to cross-functional partners help validate and inform priorities and changes.
Job Responsibility:
Effectively complete clinical implementation and integration tasks at key Baxter customers
Build or deepen customer relationships with customer clinical staff and nursing educators at targeted healthcare facilities and healthcare systems using a consultative approach
Steadfast focus on safe and effective use of infusion pump technology, clinical change management, and product expertise
Maintain expert knowledge of Baxter’s Infusion Therapy products and integrated solutions
Ensure quality and integrity in implementations using the Universal Implementation Process and in-service scripts
Lead all aspects of and deliver product training and integration objectives for new and existing customers through defined, multi-phased implementation processes, access to eLearning, on-site training, use of collateral training material, and consistent follow-up
Apply education, product and clinical knowledge to troubleshoot and solve problems while ensuring adoption of new technology
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (Nursing/Business) with 3 + years in-depth clinical nursing experience, critical care or specialty area preferred with an active RN license
Outstanding communication, presentation skills, and professional presence
Strong clinical background with in-depth knowledge of I.V. therapy
Ability to work independently with strong time management skills
High comfort level with technology and nursing informatics concepts
Ability to be managed remotely and work in constantly evolving environments
Must possess a valid Driver's License
Must meet customer specific mandates such as vaccinations and or screening tests necessary for vendor credentialing
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office - (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to travel up to 80% and based within an hour of a major/international airport
