Join our healthcare team as a Clinical Documentation Clerk, responsible for accurate input and maintenance of patient records and billing information. This role will support our revenue cycle management by ensuring compliance with clinical documentation standards, coding accuracy, and timely claims submission. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and eager to learn systems like eCW.

Job Responsibility:

  • Review and enter clinical documentation according to current standards and healthcare regulations
  • Apply coding basics, especially diagnosis codes (ICD‑10), to support accurate claims processing
  • Prepare and submit billing claims, ensuring all requirements are met for successful reimbursement
  • Use the eClinicalWorks (eCW) system for documentation and billing tasks
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues that cause revenue cycle management (RCM) hold-ups, escalating problems as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and data integrity when handling sensitive patient information
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support accurate and timely patient record updates
