This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to step into a senior clinical leadership role within a small, premium nursing service supporting older adults with a range of complex clinical needs. The home offers a luxury, hospitality-led environment with a strong emphasis on resident experience, presentation, and quality of care. This is not a typical nursing home setting – it requires a Deputy who can combine clinical excellence with professionalism, leadership, and attention to detail.
Job Responsibility:
Support the Home Manager with the day-to-day leadership and operational management of the home
Provide strong clinical leadership across the nursing and care teams
Ensure the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care
Support and mentor nurses and care staff to maintain high clinical and presentation standards
Oversee complex clinical needs including PEG feeding, tracheostomy care and catheterisation
Monitor clinical outcomes, audits and quality indicators
Ensure safe medication management and best clinical practice
Lead on care planning, documentation and compliance
Support CQC readiness, audits and governance processes
Play a key role in stabilising the team and promoting a positive, supportive culture
Participate in the on-call rota and provide leadership support when required
Requirements:
Registered Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN
Strong clinical background within elderly care, nursing homes or hospital settings
Experience in a Clinical Lead, Deputy Manager or senior nursing role
Confident managing complex clinical needs
Strong understanding of CQC regulations and clinical governance
Ability to lead, coach and develop nursing teams
Professional, organised and detail-oriented approach
Must be a driver due to the rural location
