An established independent mental health hospital set within landscaped grounds in Essex is seeking a Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to join its specialist Eating Disorders Unit. This service provides structured inpatient, day-care and outpatient treatment for adults and adolescents experiencing complex mental health presentations, including eating disorders. The environment is recovery-focused, therapeutic and multidisciplinary, with a strong emphasis on psychological formulation and evidence-based care. Job Responsibility:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop formulation-led treatment plans
Deliver evidence-based individual and group interventions (CBT and/or DBT approaches desirable)
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support holistic patient care
Support emotional regulation and recovery planning for individuals with eating disorders
Facilitate psychoeducation for patients and families
Contribute to MDT meetings, risk discussions and care reviews
Participate in service development initiatives and clinical supervision
Requirements:
HCPC-registered Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist
Recognised doctoral-level qualification
Minimum 1 year’s experience working with eating disorder presentations
