Job Responsibility:
Coordinating and assigning students to clinical sites for the Radiography program
Ensuring students are current on vaccinations, assigns clinical sites and records attendance
Maintaining records and ensures compliance with the college and Radiography program policies and procedures in accordance with accreditation and state requirements
Participating in school activities such as student functions, graduation exercises, open houses, new student orientations, and advisory board meetings
Requirements:
Must have a minimum three (3) years of occupational experience in the field or closely related field
Of those three (3) years, two (2) years must be full-time clinical experience in diagnostic radiography
Must have a minimum of one (1) year of teaching experience in an accredited program in the subject areas taught or demonstrate prior training in instructional methodology and teaching skills from a formal teacher educational program or any comparable training program or formal in-house training program
Bachelor’s degree required
Must be a graduate from a radiography program accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education or Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
Nice to have:
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography
