Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinating and assigning students to clinical sites for the Radiography program
  • Ensuring students are current on vaccinations, assigns clinical sites and records attendance
  • Maintaining records and ensures compliance with the college and Radiography program policies and procedures in accordance with accreditation and state requirements
  • Participating in school activities such as student functions, graduation exercises, open houses, new student orientations, and advisory board meetings

Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum three (3) years of occupational experience in the field or closely related field
  • Of those three (3) years, two (2) years must be full-time clinical experience in diagnostic radiography
  • Must have a minimum of one (1) year of teaching experience in an accredited program in the subject areas taught or demonstrate prior training in instructional methodology and teaching skills from a formal teacher educational program or any comparable training program or formal in-house training program
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must be a graduate from a radiography program accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education or Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)

Nice to have:

  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Card
  • Current State of California CRT permit
  • California Fluoroscopy Licensure
