We are searching for an experienced Clinical Coder to help support our client in the Staffordshire Area on a part-time, locum basis. Location: Cumberland House Surgery, Stone, Staffordshire, ST15 8AP. Hours: 3 days per week (onsite only) | Flexible around core hours. Duration: Immediate start – approximately 1 month. Rate: £16.88 per hour - paid Via Umbrella Company. Job Description Cumberland House Surgery is seeking an experienced Clinical Coder to support the practice on a temporary, onsite basis. This position requires the successful candidate to work on site throughout the duration of the assignment; remote working is not available. The role will involve the accurate and timely coding of clinical information to support safe, effective, and compliant healthcare delivery.

Job Responsibility

  • Accurately code clinical data from patient records in accordance with national and local standards
  • Maintain high standards of data quality and clinical record accuracy
  • Update and manage patient records using EMIS
  • Review, process, and file clinical correspondence via Docman
  • Support the practice in clearing coding backlogs where required
  • Work collaboratively with clinicians and administrative staff to ensure accurate record-keeping
