Job Description

The Clinical Care Pharmacist manages patient and provider communications, ensures accurate prescription processing, and performs pre-verification to uphold quality control and compliance according to Strive Pharmacy SOPs.

Job Responsibility

  • Checking entered prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
  • Performing calculations to ensure ingredients within a formula are measured and utilized properly
  • Managing inbound and outbound communications with patients and providers.
  • Counseling patients
  • Offering guidance to providers regarding appropriate therapy and dosing for optimal individualized care

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Degree
  • Active AZ Pharmacist license

Nice to have

  • Experience in compounding
  • Understanding of aseptic technique
  • Familiar with USP guidelines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with call center software
