This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse with strong leadership experience to step into a senior clinical management role within a well-supported and established care home environment. The service provides high-quality care for older adults with a variety of needs including residential care, nursing care, dementia care, nursing dementia care, respite care and end-of-life care. The home is purpose-built and modern, with a strong focus on delivering kindness-led, person-centred care that enhances residents’ quality of life.
Job Responsibility:
Support the Home Manager with the day-to-day leadership and operational management of the home
Provide clinical leadership and oversight across the nursing and care teams
Ensure the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care
Support and coach nurses and care staff to maintain high clinical standards
Monitor clinical outcomes and quality indicators
Ensure safe medication management and clinical practice
Oversee care planning, documentation and compliance
Lead on clinical governance processes, audits and quality improvement initiatives
Ensure the service remains CQC compliant and inspection ready
Promote a positive team culture focused on accountability, development and high-quality care
Participate in the on-call management rota, supporting the Home Manager and leadership team when required
Requirements:
Registered Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN
Strong experience working within elderly nursing or care home environments
Previous experience in a Clinical Lead, Deputy Manager, Nurse Manager or Care Manager position
Extensive clinical knowledge and leadership capability
Strong understanding of CQC regulations and care home governance
Ability to coach and develop nursing teams
Excellent organisation, planning and communication skills
Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care
