Job Description:

Our client is moving away from the traditional Clinical Care Manager (CCM) model and are seeking a Senior Clinical Coordinator to take the lead. In this streamlined structure, the facility is divided into two distinct clinical wings. You will be 'in-charge' of your half of the facility, working alongside one other Clinical Coordinator. With no CCM between you and the Facility Manager, you will have a direct seat at the leadership table and the autonomy to drive clinical excellence in your area.

Job Responsibility:

  • Full clinical oversight and accountability for half of the facility
  • Mentoring and leading the RNs and care staff within your wing
  • Ensuring clinical compliance, incident management, and high-quality resident outcomes
  • Collaborating closely with your counterpart CC and the Facility Manager to ensure consistent care across the home

Requirements:

  • Proven Senior Leadership: You must have previous experience as a Clinical Care Manager (CCM) or Nurse Unit Manager (NUM)
  • Confidence & Competence: You are comfortable being the primary clinical decision-maker for your wing
  • Aged Care Expertise: Deep knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and AN-ACC
  • AHPRA Registration: Current Registered Nurse (Division 1) registration
  • Relocation: You must be willing to relocate
  • Bachelors of nursing
