Job Responsibility:
Support the clinical team in analyzing data from clinical projects
Ensure samples are processed and results delivered within the target turnaround time (TAT)
Technical review of sequencing data
Perform non-standard assay processing of clinical samples
Lead data transfer activities
Attend, prepare and present material at international meetings of relevance, in alignment with company priorities
Lead exploratory data analysis to generate publishable material and/or inform R&D efforts regarding the current and future application of MRD assays
Follow all written procedures (SOPs) and safety requirements
Aid in the preparation of custom reports and analyses for collaborators
Requirements:
MSc or PhD in the field of computational biology, bioinformatics, or applied sciences, or significant industry experience in a relevant field required
2 years of bioinformatics experience in an academic or, preferred, industry setting
Solid understanding of NGS analysis
Scientific programming experience in R and/or Python (Essential)
Familiarity with data visualization libraries in R/Python such as ggplot2 or matplotlib (Essential)
Experience working in a UNIX environment (Essential)
Experience with or strong desire to learn next generation sequence data analysis (Essential)
Experience with cancer genomics data (Desired)
Experience with variant calling and exome/WGS pipelines (Desired)
