Job Description:

As an Administrative Professional, you will be an integral contributor to our facilities success, providing support to the supervisor and ensuring an environment of efficiency and high-quality service within the clinic reception group.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide support to the supervisor and ensure an environment of efficiency and high-quality service within the clinic reception group
  • Able to accurately perform the assigned work without error
  • Expected to understand patient health insurance provider and scheduling protocol for physicians and APNs
  • Collects insurance information and updates patient demographics
  • Verifies insurance as needed
  • Able to work through large volume reports, communicate to hospital staff, clinic staff and patients, able to answer the phone or help a patient in the office while maintaining accuracy and complete tasks
  • Responsible for answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments
  • Effectively communicates appointments and instructions to patients
  • Exhibits ability to think through the scheduling process and appropriately schedule hospital and clinic procedures/ appointments
  • Understands where to direct patient questions when answering the phone and can successfully hand off to other team members when appropriate
  • Identifies problems and presents to Supervisor if unable to resolve
