As our Electrophysiology Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will be a visionary leader, setting the standard for exceptional patient care and empowering our EP team to achieve unparalleled clinical excellence. Job Responsibility

  • Provide direct supervision, mentorship, and professional development to a team of EP Clinic Registered Nurses
  • Oversee the daily operations of the EP Clinic, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, best practices, and regulatory standards
  • Champion patient-centered care, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate delivery of services to individuals with complex heart rhythm conditions
  • Foster a cohesive and supportive team environment, promoting effective communication and interdisciplinary collaboration with EP physicians, advanced practice providers, and other departments
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, data collection, and performance monitoring to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety
  • Oversee and contribute to the development and delivery of comprehensive patient education on various EP procedures and conditions

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience in Electrophysiology preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • In-depth knowledge of EP procedures, devices (pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders), medications, and patient management protocols

Nice to have

Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience in Electrophysiology

  • Collaborates with the Ambulatory Clinic Manager, Senior Administrator/Director, and Physician leadership to establish patient care standards and evaluates staff compliance

  • Uses findings from patient and staff satisfaction surveys, complaints, and patient safety events/root cause analysis to plan and improve patient care using active mentoring and performance management strategies including MDI (monitoring daily improvement) boards
  • Assists with hiring, education and performance evaluation of the staff
  • Creates and maintains a supportive work environment for the entire team
