Job Responsibility

Provides administrative support and performs clerical duties to ensure proper and accurate record keeping of all activities associated with the Department of Medicine.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years secretarial experience in a health care field
  • Physician credentialing experience preferred
  • Proficient Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and e-mail skills
  • Must be familiar with general office equipment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Managerial, Communication, Analytical and Organizational skills
  • Ability to secure confidential matters
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively

Nice to have

  • Associates degree
  • Physician credentialing experience

  • Provisions elite level sports physical therapy services including evaluations, program planning and treatments that include manual, myofascial, modality and therapeutic exercise interventions
  • Integrates physical therapy services into an interdisciplinary model of care that includes strength and conditioning, performance nutrition, sport psychology, and sport science
  • Assists with establishing physical therapy care guidelines and return to play protocols
  • Participates and assists in the development of support systems to aid in athlete assessments, and data collection and management
  • Cultivates relationships with athletes, coaches, and gyms to distribute evidence-based relevant information
  • Participates in on-going training with athletes, coaches, and UFC PI staff members to ensure continued professional development and adherence to professional codes of conduct
