As our Clinic LPN, you will responsible for registering, collecting payments, rooming, assisting the provider with care and treatment, discharging, and following-up with patients. It is the role of the Clinical LPN to companion patients and their 'secondary guests' through the entire experience to maximize clinical excellence, reduce treatment times, and maximize the patient experience; before, during, and after the patient visit.
Job Responsibility

assist provider with front office and back office duties in outpatient management of patients on a rotating basis
act as patient advocate
behave professionally and empathetically to build trust, comfort, understanding, and relationships with patients and secondary guests
welcome patient and secondary guests, inquire purpose and nature of visit
collect identification and payor related documentation, conduct patient registration, perform point of service collection
measure and collect patient data including temperature, pulse, oxygen saturation, respirations, blood pressure, height, weight, and in indicated pediatric patients length and head circumference
conduct hearing and vision screenings
communicate data and results to patient
document all data accurately into patient medical record
collect and document patient reason for visit, chief complaint, allergies, health history, and current medications for provider review
complete standard operating procedures to optimize patient comfort and throughput
prepare patients for examinations and procedures
assist provider with patient care
perform approved lab tests and diagnostic testing, prepare and administer designated medications, instill eye drops, apply topical medications at direction of provider
organize, schedule, complete, and communicate primary care, specialist, and ancillary referrals to patients
Requirements
LPN Degree, License to practice professional nursing in the state of North Dakota
Licensed to practice nursing in the state of ND or in a compact state
Basic life support certified
Prefer 1 year of clinic or hospital experience.
