Job Description

ACES, founded in 2005, is an independent provider of NHS eye care services in the community. We support the NHS, whilst providing patients with the highest standards of clinical care from expert consultant ophthalmic surgeons. ACES offer exceptional and timely community routine and emergency ophthalmology outpatient services. Using the latest in ophthalmic technology, we consistently provide excellent clinical outcomes for all patients allowing them to enjoy a better quality of life. We are seeking an experienced Clinic Doctor to join our dynamic and supportive team in our Manchester Hospital, the role will require flexibility to carry out procedures at other hospital locations in the North West. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Glaucoma management, General Ophthalmology, and Oculoplastic procedures, delivering high-quality patient care in a busy clinical setting.

Job Responsibility

  • Diagnose and manage glaucoma and other ophthalmic conditions
  • Perform oculoplastic surgeries and minor procedures
  • Provide comprehensive general ophthalmology consultations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in clinical audits and continuous professional development

Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree
  • Specialist registration in Ophthalmology
  • Proven experience in glaucoma and oculoplastic work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered care
