Job Description:

Temporary Client Support administrator role in the Interventions Team of a law firm. The role involves reviewing legal files, extracting client data, and inputting information onto spreadsheets to support the Solicitors Regulation Authority intervention process.

Job Responsibility:

  • Working on intervened solicitors case management system, in order to search for and extract important client data and add information to a spreadsheet
  • Working on both electronic and paper files
  • Reviewing case files and legal documents
  • Collating data from files and inputting it onto spreadsheets
  • Accurate time recording
  • Adherence to all elements of the Outcomes-Focused Regulation issued by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, with particular emphasis on client care and complaints handling procedures, in order to reduce the risk of professional negligence

Requirements:

  • 5 GCSE’s including English and Maths at C/4 and above
  • Good standard of computer literacy and familiarity with IT systems
  • Good communication skills
  • Good standard of literacy, numeracy and attention to detail
  • Professional manner
  • Discretion and ability to work in a confidential environment
  • Keen to learn and develop in a legal setting
  • Ability to work amidst frequent interruptions whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to be flexible to suit the needs of the Department
  • Demonstrates drive and enthusiasm and a willingness to learn

Nice to have:

  • Possess or currently studying towards a legal related qualification such as an A level or degree
