Global Trade Solutions Department (GTS) is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia. Today, HSBC is the leading international trade bank and GTS sits as part of Commercial Banking. We support customers right through the trade cycle, from raw materials - to manufacturing and shipment - to discounting and collecting invoices. We do this by working with Commercial Banking and Global Banking relationship managers, providing solutions appropriate for the customers' needs.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver Krakow’s GTS strategy and operating model, aligned with the global GTS target operating model
Contribute to achieving the overall business objective of revenue growth through revenue retention, reduced sales time on service, proactive management of GTS service performance and increased clients’ usage of self-serve solutions
Handle, own and resolve clients’ transactional queries, issues and complaints
Coordinate with Transaction Services staff, GSD, BDMs, RMs and other internal/external staff for service performance and issues
Provide transactional trade advisory to assigned clients, Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Relationship Managers (RMs), and provide input to account planning
Take full ownership of clients' transactional needs and coordinate between clients, Transaction Services, Business Development, GSD (where applicable), CMB, GBM & other internal/ external parties for transaction fulfilment and service performance
Advise clients on trade transactional practices & products
Interact with clients (and clients' customers, applicable to RF) to collect client payments & apply risk controls
Encourage client adoption of self-serve solutions to enable proactive service
Understand clients' transactional routines, build relationships & identifies potential increases in revenue flows for Business Development to explore
Monitor client experience, client feedback & service quality.
