We are seeking immediately available candidates for temporary casual assignments who have the capacity to work full-time hours. Job Responsibility:

  • Act as a professional first point of contact, delivering empathetic and high-level service to clients, families, and community members
  • Facilitate the smooth day-to-day operation of the office by managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and providing proactive support to the wider team
  • Maintain precise records and reporting via MS Excel and industry-specific databases with a high degree of accuracy
  • Manage sensitive documentation and personal records with strict adherence to confidentiality, ethics, and privacy legislation
  • Process referrals and conduct initial intake screenings or contact with referred persons
  • Assist with the coordination of events, meetings, and secretariat services including agendas and minutes

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within Not-for-Profit, Community Services, or Disability sectors
  • A current Paid Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or Yellow Card)
  • Ability to successfully pass a National Criminal History Check (Police Check)
  • A current Australian Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel if required
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
  • Confident user of the MS Office Suite with an aptitude for learning new database systems
  • A high level of emotional intelligence and the resilience to handle complex or sensitive situations with composure
