We are seeking a Client Service Representative - Outreach to support a healthcare outreach program focused on educating and assisting beneficiaries with managed care options. This role combines community engagement, enrollment support, and client education, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with diverse populations in both group and individual settings. This is a field-based role that requires travel within assigned counties and participation in community events, presentations, and health fairs.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct face-to-face outreach, including group presentations and one-on-one interactions with beneficiaries
Educate individuals on managed care options and assist with plan selection and utilization
Support enrollment and disenrollment processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Provide guidance on medical exemptions, waivers, and enrollment status updates
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in CRM systems
Perform data entry and transmit enrollment information in accordance with program policies
Build and maintain strong relationships with county staff, community organizations, and program stakeholders
Assist in training and mentoring new team members
Participate in community outreach events and health fairs to promote program awareness
Monitor and report quality issues, compliance concerns, and process improvement opportunities
Meet established production, performance, and quality metrics
Collaborate with team members and management to improve service delivery and efficiency
Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies
Typing speed of 20+ WPM
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Valid California driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
Willingness and ability to travel within assigned counties
Familiarity with the local community and populations served
Nice to have:
Experience in human services, healthcare, or community outreach (minimum 6 months preferred)
Background in public speaking, training, education, or community engagement
Experience working with low-income or diverse populations
Bilingual or multilingual skills, including reading and writing in threshold languages
Ability to present information in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner
