Job Description

We are looking for a Client Service Associate to deliver attentive, personalized support to clients in Norfolk, Virginia. This role focuses on building lasting relationships through responsive communication, thoughtful follow-up, and a high standard of service. The ideal candidate will collaborate across multiple business areas to help coordinate client needs efficiently while maintaining a positive overall experience.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships by providing prompt, detail-focused communication and consistent follow-through on requests
  • Learn each client’s preferences, goals, and service expectations to provide tailored support and a high-quality experience
  • Coordinate with teams such as Compliance, Operations, Tax, Financial Planning, and Finance to help complete client-related activities accurately and on time
  • Monitor client inquiries from start to finish, ensuring updates are shared clearly and issues are resolved efficiently
  • Support day-to-day service activities by organizing information, tracking outstanding items, and helping keep client records current
  • Uphold established procedures and service standards to ensure work is completed in alignment with firm policies and regulatory expectations

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in client service, customer support, or a related role
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and build trust with clients
  • Demonstrated ability to manage follow-up activities and handle multiple priorities with attention to detail
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a service-driven environment
  • Ability to provide a personalized experience by understanding client needs and responding appropriately
  • Background in guest assistance, customer direction, retail support, inventory awareness, or sales-related service is helpful
