Job Description

Your mission as Client Relations Inside Sales is to drive sustainable growth within Appinio’s small and mid-tier client segment. You’ll be commercially responsible for a large portfolio of smaller accounts - nurturing, expanding, and reactivating them through a mix of data-driven processes and proactive sales activity. You’ll balance inbound qualification, outbound prospecting, closing deals and account growth, ensuring that every client, experiences the value of Appinio’s real-time insights platform. Acting as the growth engine for your segment, you’ll combine structured execution with a curious, consultative mindset to turn opportunities into long-term relationships.

Job Responsibility

  • Take commercial ownership of a diverse portfolio of smaller and lower-tier accounts, ensuring consistent growth and retention
  • Manage and convert inbound leads into active, long-term customers through consultative engagement
  • Proactively build a high-quality outbound pipeline, identifying and approaching new prospects within your target market
  • Drive renewals, reactivations, and upsells across your account base, leveraging automation, data, and scaled communication tactics
  • Analyse account performance, pipeline health, and funnel metrics to guide your strategy and improve conversion
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Research team to deliver a best-in-class customer experience
  • Maintain organised, data-backed account management processes — ensuring visibility, prioritisation, and accountability in all activities

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or SDR roles
  • At least 2 years of full-cycle sales experience
  • Experience in market research or data-centric organisations
  • Hungry, proactive hunter who enjoys taking ownership of pipeline and driving results
  • Consultative, empathetic mindset, skilled at understanding client needs and building meaningful relationships
  • Organised, analytical, and data-driven, using structure and insights to guide decisions and improve performance
  • Naturally curious, coachable, and eager to learn, always looking to grow commercial skills
  • Thrive in a collaborative, international environment, contributing to shared goals and an open feedback culture
  • Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken)
  • Based in Germany, Ideally Hamburg
