Job Description

You will work with a dedicated UK Insurance leadership and client executive team, bringing together deep industry expertise, commercial accountability, and delivery leadership across NTT DATA’s UK and global insurance business. Your role will be within our General Insurance sub-sector, you will be excited by industrialising transformation and how AI will accelerate the outcomes to benefit our clients.

Job Responsibility

  • Build and own the end‑to‑end client relationship for your accounts
  • Shape client strategy early in the lifecycle, engaging pre-RFP to position NTT DATA for success and influence solution direction
  • Shape and execute multi‑year account and growth strategies
  • Lead deal shaping, commercial negotiation, and governance
  • Bring together our Global Practices such as consulting, digital, data, cloud and managed services into coherent, outcome‑based solutions and enhancing our service offerings through engagement with C-Suite to unlock transformation opportunities
  • Work collaboratively across global practices and delivery teams to ensure on‑time, high‑quality outcomes
  • Input to the development of our General Insurance Market Strategy consulting proposition working alongside our global practices and partners
  • Engage directly with client C-suite stakeholders during competitive dialogue, presenting compelling value propositions that resonate at board level
  • Develop and execute sophisticated competitive win strategies, informed by market intelligence, client insight, and commercial positioning
  • Lead governance for strategic pursuits, ensuring risk mitigation, financial rigour, and quality assurance throughout the deal lifecycle
  • Drive discipline, structure, and pace across the pursuit lifecycle to maximise probability of win and deliver measurable growth impact

Requirements

  • Minimum 8+ years’ experience leading strategic pursuits, capture management, or complex transformation bids within global IT services or consulting environments with a material emphasis on the General Insurance sector
  • Executive presence with the credibility to influence C-suite stakeholders internally and externally
  • Proven track record of leading and securing deals of at least £3m+, ideally within the £10m–£35m+ range
  • Excellent commercial acumen and governance discipline, balancing ambition with risk management and financial rigour
  • Track record of leading and overseeing Transformations within the General Insurance sector, especially leveraging technology to drive infrastructure, data and application modernisation
