This is a highly relationship-driven role where you will manage an established portfolio of clients while identifying opportunities to strengthen and grow those relationships. Acting as a trusted advisor and key point of contact, you will support clients across wills, trusts, estate planning and wealth-related matters. The role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work closely with clients during important life transitions, while collaborating with internal specialists to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and develop an established portfolio of clients within the Tauranga region
Provide technical advice to clients around wills, estate planning and trust structures
Maintain regular contact with clients and proactively reconnect with dormant relationships
Support clients and families through estate administration and significant life events with care and professionalism
Build and maintain referral relationships across professional networks
Work alongside internal teams to deliver joined-up client solutions
Represent the organisation at networking and relationship-building events
Contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the client portfolio
Requirements:
2-5 years’ experience in relationship management, client advisory, or account management within professional or financial services
Exposure to trusts, estates, legal services, insurance, banking, or wealth management is highly advantageous
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with a wide and diverse client base
High level of emotional intelligence and ability to manage sensitive client situations
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple client matters simultaneously
Relevant tertiary qualification in law, commerce, or financial services is beneficial but not essential
