Job Responsibility

Oversee transmission projects from planning and permitting through construction and closeout
Manage project schedules in coordination with the scheduler using Primavera P6, while overseeing permitting (environmental & real estate), detailed cost estimating, engineering design, procurement of labor and materials, and contractor/vendor management to meet client deadlines
Lead recurring design and construction progress meetings to keep teams aligned and on track
Develop detailed cost estimates and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
Create and manage bid packages, evaluate contractor bids, and recommend selections to clients
Build strong relationships with project and construction teams through regular communication and site visits
Manage external vendors and contractors to meet client deadlines
Develop execution plans and supporting documentation for project authorization and funding
Provide regular updates to the PM Supervisor and client on schedule, cost, risks, and issues
Travel within the client’s service territory as needed
