The Client Global Lead for Securities Finance Operations is a senior management level position focused on client change implementation, process optimization, risk management, and team leadership. The role involves strategic oversight of operations with a focus on delivering efficiency and maintaining global consistency in client processes. Job Responsibility:
Day-to-day leadership, management & support of Securities Financing Operations Client Change ensuring e.g. managerial structure is fulfilled timely and in highest quality, and all aspects of employees' lifecycle are performed in appropriate standard
support of onboarding new clients through the implementation process
coordination, execution and reporting of global Client Change Delivery / Global Deal Committee programs of work
continual review of client processes (manual / bespoke / non STP) with stakeholders to identify and execute tactical and strategic service and efficiency improvements, to streamline trade flow processes
pro-active risk management and cooperation with necessary stakeholders in order to minimize operational & project risk and adherence to all Citi policies, regulatory and compliance requirements
ensure integrity of processes, operations and end results, implementing and managing a successful risk/control environment
advise and coach new or junior level staff on procedures and work processes across multiple departments
appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards
Requirements:
Senior and relevant experience, including significant years of experience in a managerial role within Investor Services and/or a similar position with a strong client focus
robust commercial awareness
subject matter expert in multiple or specific skill sets, business areas or products
significant industry knowledge and experience
track record of delivering efficiency within Change/Project organizations and org structures creation/design
stakeholders management skills, ability to build long-term relationships, including exposure to clients
exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of leading senior client and senior internal stakeholder meetings (e.g., Steering Committees)
