Our client is a forward-thinking and dynamic and financial institution specialising in innovative insurance solutions, dedicated to providing their clients with exceptional service and support, with a strong collaborative and entrepreneurial culture! We are looking for a passionate Lead Receptionist, whose client centric, people focused, collaborative and positive team player. This role will be based in one of the City of London iconic buildings, with fantastic City skyline views. As the Reception Manager, you will be the first point of contact, as well as managing a small reception team, setting the tone for a 5* experience with the business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Greet clients and visitors with a warm, approachable, genuine, and friendly demeanour, ensuring they receive a 5* experience
  • Develop and maintain working relationships across all departments, the senior team as well as external stakeholders and contractors
  • Oversee the reception and executives meeting areas, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations
  • Manage appointments and meetings, coordinating with various departments
  • Manage and coordinate a number of meeting rooms and event spaces, quickly and efficiently
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate team members with efficiency and professionalism
  • Manage any escalations from the senior management team and building management
  • Lead and mentor the reception team, building and developing a collaborative environment and promoting best practises

Requirements:

  • Proven extensive experience as a receptionist within a corporate or financial setting,in a leadership/management role
  • Outstanding Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Organisational Skills: Exceptional multitasking and organisational skills, with an eye for detail
  • Positive Attitude: A naturally positive and personable individual, with the ability to handle challenges with professionalism and respect
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office software and systems technology
