Lawes Consulting Group is delighted to partnering with a growing independent insurance brokerage in their search for a Commercial Account Executive. As a Commercial Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for developing and managing a book of commercial insurance business. You will work closely with prospects and existing clients to understand their unique risk exposures, present tailored coverage solutions, and ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention.

Job Responsibility

  • Prospect and generate new commercial insurance business through networking, referrals, and lead development
  • Conduct needs assessments and risk evaluations for prospective and existing clients
  • Present insurance proposals, explain coverage options, and close new business
  • Maintain strong relationships with underwriters and carriers to negotiate competitive terms
  • Ensure clients receive timely and professional service from quote to renewal
  • Collaborate with account handlers and support staff to maintain a high standard of client service and retention

Requirements

  • Experience in commercial insurance sales or account management
  • Proven ability to develop new business and manage a book of business
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Experience in using Acturis would be beneficial
  • DIP CII or ACII qualified would be advantageous
