We are currently hiring a Client Engagement Manager (CEM) to manage our international clients’ portfolios of work. As a Client Engagement Manager, you lead client partnerships with a focus on relationship, strategy, and account retention. You independently manage a portfolio of active client accounts, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and growth through proactive service and high‑quality delivery. You’ll lead strategic planning sessions, oversee project timelines and budgets, and collaborate cross‑functionally to keep work tightly aligned to client goals. You also play a crucial role in onboarding new clients and major projects, identifying upsell opportunities, and maintaining clean, accurate data in our project management system. Beyond core responsibilities, you model high‑performing team behavior, actively participate in professional development, and represent Altitude with a solutions‑oriented mindset—internally and externally. Success is measured by strong client relationships, effective budget management, meaningful contributions to strategic planning, and helping to drive client growth.
Job Responsibility:

Strategy & Consulting: Partner with the internal account team and client to develop and recommend strategic marketing plans that support business goals—drive the process end‑to‑end
Schedule/lead semi‑annual and annual strategy sessions

Research, recommend, and manage annual strategic media plans for publication advertising as needed and within scope
Provide ongoing strategic recommendations as needed, with support from senior team members
Project Management: Onboard new retainer clients and major projects in accordance with SOPs
Schedule and lead weekly client meetings and internal account‑team scrums or kickoffs as needed

Prioritize work in alignment with client business goals and within approved retainer/project budgets
Enter and manage projects and tasks in the project management system and maintain clean, accurate client data
Revenue Generation: Attend late‑stage sales calls for prospective accounts that would be assigned to you

Renew clients 1–2 months before contract end

Increase retainer when actuals consistently exceed budget and scope warrants adjustment
Identify and create opportunities for new work or increased scope, with guidance from senior team members
Requirements:
3–5+ years in account management/project leadership in a fast‑paced marketing, advertising, or related environment
Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple high‑value accounts and set clear expectations
Proven, calm client‑communication skills across email, phone, video, and in‑person formats
Able to translate business goals into integrated marketing plans and scopes

Confident analyzing performance data and communicating insights simply
Excellent organization and prioritization
