About the Business We are delighted to be partnering with a leading digital transformation and technology consulting firm working with large and complex organisations across New Zealand and Australia. The business delivers enterprise-scale digital, cloud, data, AI, and software solutions through deep technical expertise and strong, trusted client partnerships. As part of its continued expansion across Australia, they are now seeking a Client Director to establish new enterprise relationships and generate pipeline across priority Australian accounts. This is a senior enterprise-facing role for a proven Client Director, or Senior Business Development leader who thrives in true hunter environments and builds credibility with C-suite and senior technology stakeholders across the Australian market. About the role As a Client Director, you will play a key role in the businesses Australian growth strategy, leading the development of new enterprise relationships and building a strong pipeline of consulting and engineering engagements across the market. Your primary focus will be generating net-new client revenue, by positioning the company's advisory-led services as a trusted partner for digital transformation initiatives. Based in Auckland, you will work collaboratively Engagement Directors and Technical Directors internally, with regular travel to Australia to support enterprise engagement and relationship development. This role suits someone who enjoys complex enterprise sales cycles, consultative engagement, and building strategic relationships from the ground up in a collaborative leadership environment. Please Note: This is a 6-month fixed term opportunity with the potential to go permanent. Key responsibilities Lead the development of new enterprise relationships across the Australian market Build pipeline from scratch through targeted prospecting and strategic engagement with priority organisations Develop a deep understanding of client business goals, challenges, and transformation priorities across enterprise technology environments Identify, shape, and progress advisory and engineering engagement opportunities across cloud, AI, data, and software delivery Contribute to strategic account planning and long-term growth strategies as relationships mature Support commercial outcomes by contributing to pricing strategies, proposals, and contract discussions alongside delivery and technical leaders Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through insight-led conversations and proactive market engagement Collaborate internally with consulting, delivery, and technical teams to ensure alignment between client needs, solution design, and execution About you You are a seasoned enterprise sales or client leader with a strong background in technology consulting and a track record of building pipeline from zero across the Australian market. You will bring: Proven experience engaging large enterprise organisations across Australia and contributing to the sale of complex consulting or engineering services engagements Demonstrated success closing $500K+ technology consulting opportunities Confidence building credibility and influence with CIO, CTO, CDO, and senior executive stakeholder Strong commercial acumen, with an understanding of revenue growth, pipeline development, and long-term account strategy A consultative, relationship-led approach focused on advisory-led engagement rather than transactional selling The ability to operate effectively in collaborative delivery environments alongside technical and consulting leadership A values-driven approach, with integrity, trust, and collaboration at the centre of how you work Why join?
