Job Description:

A key support position in animating and developing both Fragrance & Beauty business, within Hermès Boutiques. The Client Development Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of US boutiques, assisting the Director of Client Development - Fragrance & Beauty in developing tools, managing communications and maintaining engagement levels to help optimize retail performance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Execute animations and activations in coordination with Merchandising/Planning, VM, Retail teams
  • Partner with Client Events and CRM on animations to drive the business
  • Monitor competitive activity
  • Assist in management of Freelance team via recruitment, scheduling/placement, training and payments
  • Build strong partnerships with both local contacts and international partners
  • Participate in executing Fragrance & Beauty seminars, seasonal training and technical skill set development
  • Host and transmit House values and product knowledge through regular training sessions
  • Motivate and actively engage with beauty community
  • Evolve and champion a network of high-performing Beauty Experts
  • Attend Train-The-Trainer seminars
  • Prepare quantitative and qualitative monthly boutique activity reports & trade animation recaps
  • Share Hermès Parfums and Beauté “best practices”
  • Maintain excellent standards in collaterals (samples, testers, hygiene products, etc.)
  • For launches and key moments, partner with Merchandising/Planning on optimal in-store inventory, assortment and goals
  • Partner with Visual Merchandising in new PLV executions, strong product impacts
  • Regularly visits Local Markets for business review and support new store openings

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of relevant working experience in a similar role and/or department
  • Superior knowledge of luxury consumer industry
  • High level of attention to detail and excellent written and verbal skill
  • You are a team player who is hardworking and dedicated
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Cosmetics background and/or French language skills a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Must be flexible to travel, as needed
