Current Police Station Accreditation is essential
Proven experience in providing legal advice at the police station
Strong communication skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
A client-focused, empathetic approach and a commitment to high standards of representation
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
Flexibility to cover out-of-hours and weekend shifts as part of a rota
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is preferred but not essential

Job Responsibility

Attending police stations across Greater Manchester and surrounding areas to advise and represent clients during interviews
Providing clear, confident legal advice in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Managing your own caseload of pre- and post-charge matters, with scope to develop into Magistrates’ and Crown Court advocacy if desired
Maintaining excellent client care throughout, ensuring a calm, reassuring presence for clients
Collaborating with solicitors, barristers, and caseworkers to build strong legal strategies
Participating in the firm’s out-of-hours rota, with enhanced rates and overtime available
Representing the firm with professionalism and integrity at all times

Job Responsibility

Review intake information engage new clients, establishing the home care agreement, care plan, budget and connect the client with services and supports
Work mobile, conducting client visits as needed, practicing person centred care planning, providing independent advice and guidance to clients and their families
Work collaboratively with clients, their carers and representatives, ensuring their ongoing needs and preferences supported, to live independently at home
Liaise with Blue Star Homecare employees, stakeholders, partnered service providers on behalf of the client and Blue Star Homecare
Conduct annual reviews for all clients, revising their care plan, goals, services and budget expenditure
Ensure operations are conducted ethically, fairly and within the statutory legal and contractual requirements
