Job Description:

The CAS Staff will be a key member of our Client Advisory Services (“CAS”) team, responsible for overseeing and managing the financial reporting and advisory services for our diverse client base. This role involves providing strategic financial insights, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and enhancing clients’ financial operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, develop an understanding of client needs, and deliver tailored advisory services
  • Assist CAS Controller with weekly and monthly client deliverables including monthly financial reporting packages, forecasts and projections, and other analyses as needed
  • Evaluate and improve clients' internal control systems to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial information
  • Assistance with indirect tax compliance as needed
  • Work closely with members of the CAS team and across the firm to deliver integrated services to clients
  • Prepare timely financial reports with accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist with internal scheduling to satisfy client needs and department goals
  • Stay up to date on the latest accounting standards, regulatory changes, and best practices to provide clients with best-in-class service

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or bookkeeping
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, intermediate to advanced Excel)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding organization and project management skills
  • Highly motivated and takes initiative for professional growth and development
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to travel to client locations, which may include occasional overnight stays
  • Ability to work overtime, as needed

Nice to have:

  • Experience in public accounting and corporate roles is a plus
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and familiarity with Quickbooks Desktop, Xero, Netsuite, Sage Intacct, and other accounting ERP systems are a plus
