We are looking for a customer-focused sales specialist to support clients throughout their flooring and home improvement buying journey in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying customer needs, and turning showroom visits and lead activity into completed sales. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure each order moves smoothly from initial consultation through final fulfillment while delivering a welcoming customer experience. Due to the nature of the work and onsite requirements, preference will be given to Hawaii residents. Applicants should be able to reliably commute or reside within the region to meet business needs. Job Responsibility
Welcome showroom visitors, learn about their project goals, and provide attentive guidance tailored to their needs
Lead customers through each stage of the sales journey, from initial conversation and product selection to final purchase decisions
Build a steady pipeline by making follow-up calls, reconnecting with past customers, and encouraging referral-based business
Oversee orders from entry to completion, confirming details are accurate and timelines are properly communicated
Develop new opportunities through networking, referrals, and incoming inquiries from prospective clients
Coordinate with production, operations, and related teams to support efficient execution and customer satisfaction
Maintain strong knowledge of product offerings and help keep showroom presentations organized and appealing
Record customer interactions, sales activity, and lead progress using company systems and standard sales tools
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a closely related client-facing role
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Ability to answer phones and provide excellent customer service
Comfort using Microsoft Office and digital business systems to manage customer and sales information
High school diploma or equivalent required

Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation for work-related needs
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 15 pounds
Availability to work a flexible schedule that may include Saturdays and selected holidays
