Job Description

The Client Advisor Assistant will work as part of the Private Banking team within a support role function, providing a range of assistance to the Client Advisors, with a focus supporting on client file reviews.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain client files and records through standing data amendments including new client set-up and deletion
  • Proactively assist Client Advisors with the management of Clients wealth in line with their aspirations and risk appetite
  • Provide support for client meetings
  • Contact clients regularly by telephone, letter or in person
  • Provide support in responding to client queries
  • Liaise with the operations and administration units
  • Prepare, check and dispatch client valuation records
  • Assist in all projects expected on the team
  • Assist in ensuring the team meets all its obligations in respect of the Client Profile Update process
  • Reflect and adhere to culture of compliance
  • Develop own professional expertise
  • Carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required

Requirements

  • Experience of the UK wealth management industry
  • Experience of supporting Advisors
  • Understands Risk within context of the role and meets the regulatory obligations, as applicable
  • Competent at maintaining client data and communicating with clients
  • Good communication and written English skills
  • Very good telephone manner, comfortable handling client queries
  • Excellent team working skills
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Well organised and efficient
  • Takes a solution oriented approach
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
  • Capable of using either or both of G2 and Intelligent Office
  • Fluent in English
