This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative, advisory-driven public accounting environment.

  • serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships and delivering responsive, proactive communication
  • advise clients on accounting process improvements, system implementations, and internal control enhancements
  • oversee, mentor, and review work prepared by seniors, staff accountants, and offshore team members
  • coordinate with tax, assurance, and advisory teams to ensure cohesive client service and timely deliverables
  • stay current on emerging accounting technologies, helping clients adopt efficient cloud-based platforms and automation tools (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, Bill.com)
  • support business development by identifying client needs, preparing proposals, and participating in firm growth initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required
  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or client management role
  • prior public accounting experience required
  • outsourced client accounting or controllership experience highly valued
  • CPA license strongly preferred
  • in-depth knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting best practices
  • proficiency in cloud-based accounting systems and integrated financial applications
  • strong analytical, problem-solving, and advisory skills
  • excellent communication and relationship management abilities
  • proven leadership experience in managing teams and multiple client engagements simultaneously
