We are now seeking a Client Accounting Services Manager to join our growing team and lead the delivery of accounting services across a diverse range of clients in the Channel Islands.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the delivery and quality of accounting services across multiple service lines (Real Estate, Private Wealth, Corporate Services)
Manage a small team of accounting professionals, supporting their development
Manage and maintain overall control of accounting services for a portfolio of clients
Review financial statements, management accounts, and bookkeeping across a wide range of client types
Implement and monitor quality control systems for the accounting team
Provide technical accounting support during client meetings
Lead and contribute to senior level team decisions and projects
Work closely with software consultants and support the development of internal accounting systems
Assist with recruitment, training, and professional development of accountants and bookkeepers
Meet regularly with in house teams to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and KPIs
Assist with the creation and maintenance of client specific accounting procedures and templates
Liaise with tax advisors and ensure compliance with UK tax requirements (including VAT, NRL, and Corporation Tax)
Liaise with external auditors
Complete CRS and FATCA reporting requirements
Undertake other ad hoc duties as required
Requirements:
Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, ICAS or equivalent) with demonstrated post qualification experience
Detailed knowledge of the local finance industry, relevant legislation, and the regulatory environment
Strong understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS, financial reporting standards, and audit methodologies
Experience preparing financial statements under FRS 102 and IFRS
Ability to produce high quality client management information
Knowledge of financial reporting requirements for Corporate, Real Estate, and Private Wealth clients
Familiarity with the UK tax environment
Strong planning, prioritisation, and organisational skills
Collaborative leadership style

Strong problem solving and decision making abilities
