A highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Client Accounting Coordinator to join its finance team. This role is ideal for a billing professional with strong law firm experience who enjoys managing complex billing portfolios, partnering with attorneys and clients, and mentoring junior team members.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the full billing cycle, including invoice preparation, review, editing, and submission
  • Handle complex billing arrangements, including multi-payor, split-billing, and fixed-fee matters
  • Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and firm policies
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for billing-related client inquiries
  • Partner with attorneys and internal teams to resolve billing issues and support reporting needs
  • Review and analyze billing data, providing insights and recommendations when needed
  • Mentor and support junior billing professionals
  • Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and workflows

Requirements

  • 5+ years of law firm billing experience
  • Strong experience with complex billing environments
  • Proficiency with Elite 3E, Elite Enterprise, or Aderant
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables
  • Excellent communication, client service, and problem-solving
  • Demonstrated career stability with a strong track record of success
