Job Description:

Provides excellent customer service and accurately assesses all customer needs. Coordinates and executes in-house marketing programs. Demonstrate a professional image of the Signarama brand at all times.

Job Responsibility:

  • Front Counter Sales – Serve as the first point of contact for walk-in and telephone customers
  • Execute in house direct mailings
  • Assure customer satisfaction. Send thank you cards with orders
  • Respond to customer inquiries to determine needs, provide recommendations and quotes and assist customers with the order process. Obtain information for future contact
  • Process customer orders. Accurately complete Work Order
  • obtain customer’s approval and down payment
  • Telemarketing Calls to Direct Mail Listing
  • to Existing Customer Files
  • to New Business Listings
  • to No-Activity Customers
  • Call Outstanding Quotations
  • Prospecting via phone for new customers. Generate list of prospects through lead groups or publications (Yellow Pages, Chamber of Commerce directory, etc.)
  • Work closely with the Production Area to answer any questions they may have concerning current work orders
  • Maintain a good working relationship with vendors to obtain quotes and follow up on orders in process
  • Mailings to No-Activity Customers

  • Run Bi-monthly Specials Campaign
  • Implement Marketing Strategies from Marketing Planner. Execute in-house marketing, working with Owner/Marketing Representative
  • Enter contact names into database for appropriate follow up
  • Contact customers when the order is ready
  • Obtain referrals
  • determine contact name and phone number and provide follow up
  • Support Owner as needed with reports, close outs, invoices, and daily, weekly and monthly paperwork
  • Cross train in other areas of the store to maintain a fully functioning store at all times
  • Maintain an organized, clean and professional store appearance at all times
  • Quality Control
  • Complete in store training utilizing the following: Front counter Sales, Sign Product Training video, Key lines and the Owner’s Manual

Requirements:

  • Any combinations of education, training or general experience that would provide the required skills and knowledge base sufficient for job performance
  • Sufficient formal or informal education to assure the ability to use simple math
  • Previous experience as a customer sales associate/service representative
  • Previous experience in a sign shop or graphics industry
  • Pass all assessments/inventories administered during the hiring process
  • Knowledge: Correct English usage including spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • ability to proofread
  • basic math, read and interpret a ruler and use a calculator
  • basic sales skills
  • telemarketing skills
  • experience with a POS/Accounting system
  • using a keyboard for typing/data input
  • computer basics including Windows and Microsoft Office Suite
