The purpose of the role is to ensure that a high quality service is provided to all clients and to ensure a high standard of support is provided for all our Barristers and Advocates.
Job Responsibility:
Taking telephone enquiries from clients and colleagues
Dealing with all email enquiries and allocating the work to the appropriate team member
Assisting with the diary management of the barristers
Ensuring that all hearings/paperwork have fees agreed where appropriate
Reviewing the diary regularly to check whether there is capacity that could be filled by other bookings which may have earlier been declined
Working in a team efficiently and accurately to ensure that all the bookings are allocated in a timely manner
Requirements:
At least 1-3 years’ experience of clerking
Enjoys working within a team environment
Innovative, creative and forward thinking character
Experience gained in the profession is important
