Job Description

Our client is looking for a Clerk of Works. A leading firm in Fife. Job Responsibility

  • Monitor construction and maintenance projects to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess the quality of workmanship and materials used
  • Identify and report any defects or non-compliance issues to relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborate with contractors, architects, and engineers to maintain project standards
  • Prepare detailed reports on project progress and any issues identified
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to on-site
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to project teams as required
  • Assist in resolving any on-site issues to ensure timely project completion

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of construction and building regulations in the not-for-profit sector
  • Relevant qualifications in construction, surveying, or a related field
  • Experience in inspecting and managing construction or maintenance projects
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and address potential issues
  • Proficiency in preparing clear and concise reports
  • A commitment to ensuring high standards of quality and safety
