General Summary: Receives requests for facility maintenance, repairs and modifications from facility staff members. Inputs these requests into the facility’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Distributes routine, urgent and emergency work requests to the supervisors and lead workers. Reports any abnormal building system conditions to the appropriate supervisor or lead worker. Assists customers with the status of work requests, service orders, and other inquiries.
Job Responsibility:
Receives requests for facility maintenance, repairs and modifications from facility staff members
Inputs these requests into the facility’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Distributes routine, urgent and emergency work requests to the supervisors and lead workers
Reports any abnormal building system conditions to the appropriate supervisor or lead worker
Assists customers with the status of work requests, service orders, and other inquiries
Updates the CMMS as required to ensure the Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) data base information is current
Establishes new and updated Preventative and Predictive recurring work requests and procedures
Generates CMMS reports for Facilities and J&J Management to determine workload data, contractor efficiency and customer satisfaction
Works closely with quality control, safety and craftsmen to ensure compliance with contract requirements as they pertain to the CMMS
Responsible for the application of various policies, procedures and operating instructions and personnel recall rosters
Requirements:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of computer software programs to include Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook required
Experience with a Facility Computerized Maintenance Management System software (CMMS) highly desired
5-7 years of relevant work experience
High School Graduate, technical or trade school certificate in related filed desired
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., squat, bend, stoop and kneel for short periods, climb a ladder, stand for long periods of time, constant arm extensions
Must be able to pass a local background check and have the ability to obtain and maintain NAC/LAC clearance after hire
