Job Description:

This full-time Clerk-Front Desk role at The Westin Pazhou involves a wide range of guest services responsibilities such as handling reservations, check-ins, check-outs, payments, and guest inquiries while ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for all guests.

Job Responsibility:

Process guest check-ins, reservations, and room assignments
handle payment types and disputes
handle guest calls, requests, and concerns
coordinate with housekeeping
run and analyze daily reports
complete cashier and closing reports
balance and drop receipts
ensure safety and cleanliness standards
interact with guests professionally and with genuine appreciation
assist individuals with disabilities
maintain positive team relationships.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
no related work experience
no supervisory experience
ability to process guest check-ins and check-outs
ability to handle payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit
ability to handle guest calls, messages, requests, and concerns
coordination with housekeeping
ability to run daily reports
ability to complete cashier and closing reports
ability to balance and drop receipts
ability to follow safety and security policies
ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance
ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period
ability to move and handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
