Job Responsibility

  • Process guest check-ins by confirming reservations and assigning rooms
  • Process payment types such as charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit
  • Handle guest check-outs including resolving late and disputed charges
  • Answer guest calls, messages, requests, and questions
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room readiness
  • Communicate parking procedures to guests and dispatch staff as needed
  • Provide directions and information about the property and local attractions
  • Run daily reports on arrivals, departures, and special requests
  • Complete cashier and closing reports
  • Count, balance, and drop receipts according to accounting requirements
  • Follow company safety and security policies
  • Welcome and address guests by company standards
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance
  • Speak using clear and professional language
  • Develop positive working relationships
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Move, lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 10 pounds
  • Perform duties as requested by Supervisors
