Job Description:

The Clerk-Accounting role at Xuzhou Marriott Hotel Lakeview involves performing accounting and financial tasks, such as maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and completing audits. Employees are expected to adhere to company policies, ensure accuracy and confidentiality, and foster professional relationships with team members and guests.

Job Responsibility:

  • Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy
  • maintain files and financial records

  • complete period-end procedures
  • prepare and review account statements

Requirements:

  • Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes
  • organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents
  • record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information
  • maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data
  • classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data
  • prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables
  • complete period-end closing procedures and reports
  • prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements
  • follow all company policies
  • ensure clean and professional appearance
  • maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • protect company assets
  • address guests' service needs professionally and timely
  • use clear and professional language
  • respond to employee concerns appropriately
  • move objects under 10 pounds without assistance.
